PV Sindhu continued her great run at the BWF World Superseries Finals in Dubai as she defeated teenager Chen Yufei of China in straight games on Saturday to enter the final. The former Olympic and World Championship silver medallist World No. 3 Sindhu beat Yufei, ranked 8th in the world, 21-15, 21-18 in a tightly contested women’s singles semi-final.
Sindhu next faces top seed and World No. 2 Akane Yamaguchi of Japan in the summit clash on Sunday. Sindhu will fancy her chances against the Japanese as she had trounced Yamaguchi 21-9, 21-13 in just 36 minutes to top Group A on Friday.
