“Hope the Left is not planning to launch missiles at the RSS, BJPoffices as their next gruesome agenda!” BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra tweeted after an alleged CPM poster with a picture of Kim Jong-un appeared in Kerala’s Nedumkandam.

Following the appearance of the poster, the BJP spokesperson termed Kim the “poster boy” of CPM and accused the Left party of seeking inspiration from the autocratic leader of North Korea.

Patra’s tweet was in reference to the political killings of BJP and RSS members in the state.
In the past, the CPI-M has reportedly used images of Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin on their posters, but Kim Jong-Un’s is definitely a first.
The CPI-M’s district secretary said the poster must be a mistake made by the party’s local factions. The party has asked that it be removed, the district secretary said.
Last month, a 28-year-old RSS activist, Nenmini Anand, was hacked to death by unknown assailants. Following his murder, BJP president Amit Shah had alleged that CPM workers were behind the attack.
According to the BJP state leaders, AN Radhakrishnan and B Gopalakrishnan, 51 party activists have been killed in CPM attacks in the district since 1973. Three BJP activists were killed in the district after Pinarayi Vijayan became the chief minister in May 2016.
