Indian Army today paid glowing tributes to army jawan Sepoy Koushal Singh of 33 Rashtriya Rifles, who laid his life on LOC and died in a snow avalanche in Nowgam Sector on 13th of this Month. His body was recovered yesterday but 4 army jawans are untraceable yet in Nowgam and Gurez sectors of LOC.
5 army jawans got buried under snow after heavy snowfall in Kashmir 5 days ago. Army jawans were posted in Baktore Nani in Gurez. They had gone missing after the area was hit by a snow avalanche.
Pertinently, this year in January at least 22 Army soldiers died due to snow furry in Gurez and Sonmarg areas of North Kashmir.
