Former President’s surprises the children with his act

This winter month is the time for Christmas decorations and gifts. Also of good cheer and spirit that should be passed on.

Former United States President Barack Obama once again surprised students by dropping in as a Santa. Getting along with the Christmas season, Obama visited Boys and Girls Club of D.C. to celebrate the holiday with local children handing out gifts. Dressed in a leather jacket topped off with a red Santa hat, Obama came with a huge bag of gifts. There were around 50 kids in the club whose joy knew no bounds on seeing Obama as Santa. Children cheered and greeted him with handshakes when he walked through the door with a big gift-wrapped green sack.

After the meeting, Obama took to Twitter sharing a picture with the children with the caption, “There’s no better time than the holiday season to reach out and give back to our communities. Great to hear from young people at the Boys & Girls Club in DC today.” Obama may not be in White House anymore, but that doesn’t stop him from meeting children and talking to them. He had similarly surprised students at McKinley Tech High school when he dropped in without prior notice.

Here is the tweet:
