Naxals attack in railway station, abduct 2 employees

A group of heavily-armed Naxals attacked a railway station in Bihar. This incident happened in Masudan Railway Station last night and torched railway employees.

Naxals abducted the Assistant Station master and one other railway staff as they fled the scene after torching the station property. No casualties have been reported.

Divisional Railway Manager Maldah received a call from the abducted assistant station master, saying they had threatened to kill all of them if trains continue to move on track. Later all passengers have been requested to explore other alternatives.

Recently, Naxals hijacked a train in the Lakhisarai district of Bihar. Naxals have routinely targeted trains, railway stations and mobile phone towers in the eastern states.
