Aadu 2 set to release on Dec 22,’Aadu’ first part which released two years back was not a box office success but according to the team, they were forced to take a second part of it due to demand from the audience after the character enacted by Jayasurya, Shaji Pappan, became a cult figure among movie buffs.

As Aadu 2 hits the theatre this Friday, we look at the most interesting factors of it.

1. Shaji Pappan becoming a cult figure

Shaji Pappan’s unconventional looks, black mundu and incurable back pain made him a youth icon. Many followed his looks and also his style. Dance performances were choreographed and requests were made for his comeback. Will Shaji Pappan live up to the expectations of the audience? Will he have the same vigour in his changed dress code? 2. Vinayakan once again

Even before the actor won State Awards, his character in Aadu- Dude- had received rave reviews. The actor gained accolades for his action packed performance in the movie.
