Rajinikanth to make big political announcement by December 31

Actor Rajinikanthwill put all speculations to rest by announcing his political entry by December 31, said superstar’s advisor Tamilaruvi Manian.

Rajinikanth is scheduled to meet his fans for the second time this year — from December 26 to 31.

Rajinikanth and Tamilaruvi Manian held a 90-minute discussion on politics in the actor’s Poes Garden residence on Friday morning.

“This time, Rajinikanth will announce his political entry. He is most likely to make the announcement during one of the six days of interaction with his fans,” Manian said.

Asked if the discussion had been centred on the recent 2G verdict delivered by a special CBI court, Tamilaruvi Manian said he would not divulge what had been discussed at the meeting.

Manian, who is the founder of Gandhiya Makkal Iyakkam Manian, told, “Rajinikanth and I have a gentlemen’s agreement on not to disclose the issues discussed during the consultation. We did not discuss the 2G verdict nor did we talk about the RK Nagar byelection.”
