It seems Miss World 2000 Priyanka Chopra has got a doppelganger. A Pakistani model and actress named Zhalay Sarhadi who bears a striking resemblance to the former beauty queen has taken the web by storm. Let’s see some of her pictures which will instantly remind you of Priyanka Chopra.
Zhalay Sarhadi, in a recent interview joked on how she was being compared to Priyanka Chopra and was asked to be her body double.
“I started working the same year that Indian channels got banned in Pakistan and Priyanka became Miss World. I remember, I was hosting a show back then and everyone thought it was Priyanka and not me. It’s been this way ever since that time. I bet even Priyanka knows about me by now.”
Zhalay recalls one more instance how once an Indian actor she had been working with had sent a picture of hers to his friends and agents as a joke. “The agent asked him, ‘Who is this? Priyanka ki cousin aisi toh nahin hai’.
This is not the first time that a lookalike of an Indian celebrity was spotted in Pakistan. Looks like Zhalay is loving the compliments she is receiving on being compared to the original desi girl of India.
