Bollywood actress Sunny Leone who made her mark in Bollywood with her looks and her dare to do any role is literally going through the worst phase of her career at the moment. After having her condom ad banned during Navratri in Gujarat, the actress was banned from performing in Bangalore for New Years. But these things don’t seem to slow done her even a bit and her recent response to the Banglore fiasco is a proof to this.
Protestors all over Karnataka were offended because of Sunny. They kept saying “We are against Sunny wearing short clothes. If she wears saree and takes part in the event, even we’ll go watch her. Sunny doesn’t have a good past. We shouldn’t be encouraging such people. We will not hesitate to commit suicide on December 31.” Now as ridiculous as that sounds, Sunny was banned because of this reason. Her reaction, however, was spot on!
She commented ” never allow others to speak and chose for you. Have your own voice and make your own choice”. She also said that considering the security of the people, she won’t be attending the event.Sunny had a whole series of tweets flooded with social media. They make sense and are a perfect response to all her haters.
What we loved best was this photo the actress uploaded on Instagram. Her caption said “A few women in Bollywood who have taught me that it’s perfectly ok to be myself. Sharmila Tagore…Mandakini…Dimple Kapadia…Rekha…Zeenat Aman… Madhubala…” Well done, Sunny!
