Emirati students launch model rockets in Dubai
Model rockets designed and made by Emirati students were launched at SkyDive Dubai Desert Campus on Wednesday.
The launch of the model rockets was part of their 10-day Go for Orbit! Mars workshop organised by Hamdan Bin Rashid Centre for Giftedness and Creativity in Dubai.
Some 20 Students were taught by a team of trainers from NASA, including an astronaut, to individually design, plan and fabricate a real single stage or two stage rocket.
The entire curriculum of the program has been developed and executed by Dubai based 3D Education by Compass.
