NIA releases photos of 21 Islamic State recruits from Kerala
The NIA has released the pictures of 21 Malayalis who are known to have joined Islamic terror organisation ISIS. They have also been declared absconders.
It was in last June that the group coming from different religious backgrounds converted to Islam and joined ISIS.
Currently, The NIA is investigating the man missing case in Kerala. It was in between this that they released the pictures of 21 persons including six women.
Out of this, 14 persons are of 26 years of age. The eldest among the group is 36-year-old Shajeer Mangalassery.
They had left Kerala in small groups. On June 2, two members slipped away in a Bengaluru-Kuwait flight. The next day three persons left in Muscat flight from Hyderabad.
On June 5, three persons left in Mumbai-Dubai flight and on June 16, three persons left India in Bengaluru-Muscat flight. Following this, others also left India.
