England’s attempt to win the last test in the four-match test series is fast coming to an end as Steven Smith and David Warner as stood tall in between England and Victory.
Steve Smith has become the second quickest batsman to record 3000 Test runs on Australian soil.
It is yet another piece of evidence in Smith’s case to be considered the best batsman since Sir Donald Bradman.
Smith passed the milestone as he fought to save the Fourth Ashes Test and climb to a 23rd Test century.
He needed 12 fewer innings than Aussie legend Matthew Hayden to reach 3000 runs.
the latest score is 254/4 at the end of the 120th over with Steven Smith and M Marsh on crease
