Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is impressing his fans with back to back content oriented film. While his upcoming film PadMan is yet to release, the actor begins shooting for his next titled, ‘Kesari’. Akshay Kumar’s next Kesari, a film that he will be co-producing with Karan Johar, is based on the battle of Saragarhi.
Akshay Kumar says, “I am starting shoot for Kesari today.” The actor plans to wrap up the film, where he plays a Sikh again after Singh is Kinng and Singh is Bliing, in about a month-and-a-half before moving on to his next.
In the meantime, he has also kept a few dates free to finish promotions for Pad Man. Other than these, Akshay’s portfolio is brimming with projects such as Gold, 2.0, and two films that are yet to go on the floors — Land of Lungi and Housefull 4.

As he starts shooting for the film today, the Khiladi actor has unveiled the first look of him from the film and is looking intense and yet like never before. The first look sees Akshay wearing a khaki uniform, yellow turban, long beard, and mustache.

In October 2017, Karan Johar had made a blockbuster first announcement of his much-awaited film in collaboration with Akshay Kumar. The duo has joined hands to make the epic film based on the Battle of Saragarhi, titled, ‘Kesari’. The filmmaker took to Twitter to make the grand announcement with the caption,

It is for the first time that Akshay and Karan have collaborated as producers. Directed by Anurag Singh, Kesari will hit the screens on Holi 2019.
