Death is untimely and inevitable. We work relentlessly throughout our lives so that we can secure our future. We work for what is not sure and always spent our better life trying to secure what we might not even see. These few celebrities faced the same fate; they spent the last few months of their life working on the movie and they never got to see their last work. They are all legendary actors and their contribution to Film industry will always be remembered and so will these movies that they graced with their presence and succumbed to the ill-timed fate.
Thilakan
Thilakan was admitted to Jubilee Mission Hospital in Thrissur on 1 August 2012 after he collapsed during the shooting of the film Scene Onnu Nammude Veedu. He was then shifted to KIMS Hospital, Trivandrum and was in critical condition after suffering two heart attacks. Besides having cardiac problems, Thilakan was suffering from pneumonia.
Prem nazeer
Prem Nazir died on 16 January 1989 at a hospital in Madras. He was being treated for peptic ulcer complicated by viral fever and measles.
Murali
Murali died in Thiruvananthapuram on 6 August 2009 at the age of 55, due to acute diabetes which led to a heart attack at 8.20 PM. He was cremated with full state honours at his home in Aruvikkara, which he had bought some years prior to his death.
Sathyan
Sathyan died of leukemia after fighting it for a year and four months on 15 June 1971 at Madras. He was aged 59 at the time of his death. His body was taken back to his native place Thiruvananthapuram, and was buried with full state honours. Thousands attended his funeral.
Kalpana
Kalpana went to Hyderabad for the shooting of the movie Oopiri. On 25 January 2016, she was found unconscious in her hotel room by a roomboy who knocked the door around several times, but it didn’t open. He forcefully opened the door and found her unconscious. She was immediately taken to the hospital by the crew members, but died on the way. Doctors confirmed that she died of heart attack
Kochin Haneefa
Haneefa died on February 2, 2010, aged 59, at Sri Ramachandra Hospital in Chennai, from multiple organ failure. He had been treated for liver cancer.
Kalabhavan Mani
Kalabhavan Mani died on the night of 6 March 2016, aged 45. At the first stage, he was admitted at Amrita Hospital, Kochi. The police registered a case as unnatural death due to the presence of excessive methyl alcohol (a toxic chemical found in illicitly distilled liquor, Arrack) with acetaminophen in Kalabhavan Mani’s body.
