A sessions court has announced that there will be no bail for the 16 old boy who is accused of killing the 7-year-old boy of Ryan International school.
The court pronounced its decision after hearing the arguments of the counsel for the accused, the CBI and the complainant.
The defence counsel had claimed that the charge sheet in the matter was not filed within one month, as prescribed in the Juvenile Justice Act, and he was not given required documents.
Opposing the contention, the CBI had said that the mandatory period for filing a charge sheet is 90 days under CrPC provisions as the accused had been declared an adult by the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB).

Pradhuman was killed by his throat slit open on September 8. At first, Police arrested the school bus conductor but later released him on the lack of evidence.
After which the 16-year boy was arrested. according to the police, the boy committed the crime in order to postpone the parent’s teacher meeting and also the scheduled examination.
If convicted, the accused will stay in a correctional home till he is 21 years old after which the court can shift him to a jail or grant him bail, it had said.
