Director Rosshan Andrrews directed ‘Kayamkulam Kochunn’ which will see Nivin Pauly playing the titular role now got its biggest addition as Mohanlal has been roped in to play the role of folk hero Ithikkara Pakki.
The movie, scripted by Bobby and Sanjay, will hence be the first time that the two superstars will be sharing screen space.

When asked whether the role of Mohanlal will be a cameo, he said that the role of Mohanlal is very important because of Kochunni and Ithikkara Pakki very contemporaries.Therefore his role couldn’t be presented as an insignificant one.
On the actor’s getup for the film, Rosshan though doesn’t divulge much. “It will be a surprise, a revelation for sure. The role has immense scope for Lalettan to perform.”
The director added that the movie has 130 days of schedule of which 70 has been completed. Mohanlal will join them at the end of January or the beginning of February.
