When Today Kerala Blasters will be taking on Delhi Dynamos at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Delhi, nothing less than a win will be in the mind of Kerala coach David James.
A team that is at the 8th spot in the ISL table and suffering from injuries and out of form players, Kerala Blasters showed a lot of determination and grit in their last game against Pune in which they came back from back to draw the game at 1-1.

For the Blasters, Iain Hume wasn’t afforded much of a chance by Meulensteen and the Canadian striker who was to lead the line is yet to break his duck. Dimitar Berbatov, the former Manchester United striker, has been deployed in midfield from where he has struggled to contribute towards the scoreboard. Mark Sifneos is the youngest forward in the squad and the Dutchman has had to shoulder the responsibility of scoring goals. Sifneos has scored three in eight matches.
In spite of the many hurdles, James hopes his team can win the match.
Last year Kerala’s home stadium was a fortress for the team while they lost many matches in away stadiums.
This year they can’t afford to lose at away stadiums as they are already lot behind unlike last year.
The reports of Vineeth’s return from injury might give KBFC something to cheer for.
