Padmavat which is going to release on 25th January after facing so many opposition and uproar especially from the Karni Sena will have 300 cuts, reports say.
Earlier CBFC sked the makers to drop ‘i’ in Padmavati now they have asked to remove the references to places like Delhi, Chittoor, and Mewar.
In all, the cuts amount to a staggering 300 and Bhansali is racing against time at an editing studio to incorporate the diktats of the Censor Board, which is headed by noted lyricist-writer Prasoon Joshi.

When Pahlaj Nihalani, notorious for asking 94 cuts in Udta Punjab was replaced by Prasoon Joshi, much positivism was expected. But the recent reports suggest otherwise.
