Artists can draw emotions embedded within ourselves. Sometimes we cry when we hear a song, itis because of the emotions that are embedded within us are being exposed. This process, known as Catharsis, is most often done by the song.
But in 1993, a song was released, It takes the lives of more than 100 people! More specifically, The song “Gloomy Sunday” has led many people to commit suicide.
Glouma Sunday is a song composer written by a Piano reader, Résumé Séries in 1933. The Hungarian writer-poet LaReio Jovanne, who later rewrote the lyrics of the Résumé Série
with more intensive words.
The first suicide in connection with the song was in 1935. The shock mood of the song drawn to the suicide of a shoemaker in Budapest. Then the serpent’s sister died of after writing a suicide note with two words from the song ‘glossy Sunday’!
The death was subsequently suspended by Hungary. Gloomy Sunday’s suicides have never ended. Suicides in worldwide hit the bottom of the song. After a wide increase in suicides, Hungary banned the song.
Similiar cases of suicides are reported from Vienna and London. The song also known as Suicide Song has been banned by many countries, including the United States, BBC, and various radio stations.
