As a party trip and an entertainment of sorts, boats are modified and transformed into various pubs and casinos, but without proper safety measures, these can be dangerous.
A casino boat with 50 passengers onboard caught fire in Florida’s Tampa Bay area on Sunday evening, the local media reported.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, the blaze started just after 4 p.m. on the Sun Cruz casino boat.
However, no one was hurt and all the passengers made it to shore, while some were pulled out of the Gulf, deputies said.

It’s still unclear what started the fire, which obliterated most of the shuttle boat. The boat is used to take passengers to and from the SunCruz Port Richey Casino boat.
The Sheriff’s Office along with several agencies including the Coast Guard, Pasco Fire Rescue, Florida Fish, and Wildlife Commission and Port Richey police worked as a team in rescuing the passenger.
