Police have arrested four SDPI workers in relation to the murder of RSS worker Shyam Prasad, who was killed at Kannur. Police said that the reason behind the murder is that an SDPI worker was attacked by Shyam Prasad.
The four arrested are Muhammad Basheer, Saleem hamsa, ameer Abdul Rahman, Shaheem Shamsudheen. Muhammad is also accused of the murder of CPIM worker Dileepan.

The culprits were arrested by the police from Wayanad Boys town. It is to the credit of Thalappuzha Police that the culprits were nabbed within two hours.
Police believe that the attack made on SDPI worker Ayoob prompted the culprits to Kill Shyam Prasad.
BJP has called for a Hartal in Kannur district following the murder of Shyam Prasad.
