Beemapally Mosque Mosque is one of the famous pilgrimages of Muslims. The mosque is located on the outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram.The mosque at Beemapally is famous for the annual Urus.This famous mosque is located about 12km from Thiruvananthapuram. Silk, Flowers, and oil are offered in the mosque by the devotees and are circulated among them. Beemapally mosque is dedicated to Beema Umma Muslim woman with miraculous powers. She is a member of the family of Prophet Mohammed and is believed to have arrived from Mecca. The mosque has a grave of Sayeedunissa Bevi and her son Hazrath Sayyidussaheed Maheen Aboobaker. Devotees of many religion visit the mosque to offer prayer irrespective of religion.

Chandanakudam Festival is one of the most colorful events of the Beemapalli celebrated for 10 days. It is the death anniversary of Beema Devi and this festival is celebrated with lots of joy and warmth. Starting off the festival starts with the hosting of a traditional flag. Thousands of pilgrimages from all over the Kerala and all over India come here to celebrate this beautiful festival. The beauty of the mosque increases many folds during this festival.
