Indian Railways recruitment 2018 for 12th pass candidates : Apply Now
Indian Railways has invited applications to fill up the vacancies in various posts at indianrail.gov.in. Candidates who are 12th passed are eligible to apply for the vacancies.
Interested candidates must note that the last date to apply online February 12, 2018.
According to the job notification, the candidates must be active sports persons and the achievements will be reckoned during the immediate 2 (two) years period i.e. on or after 01.04.2015.”
Those candidates who will be hired by the Indian Railways in the category of Clerk-cum-Typist should acquire typing proficiency of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi within a period of four years from the date of appointment.

Here are the details of the vacancies:-
Educational Qualification: Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination. Educational Qualification must be from Recognized Institutions. OR Matriculation Plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT.
Age limit:
The candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years as on 01.01.2018 i.e. must have been born not earlier than 02nd January 1993 and not later than 01st January, 2000. No age relaxation is permissible.
Application fee:
The examination fee for all candidates is Rs 500. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/ Persons with disabilities (PWDs), Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes the fee Rs. 250.
How to apply:-
First, carefully read all the instructions given in the employment notification before filling the application form & ensure that you are eligible to apply.
Application as per the Annexure A, shall be submitted on A-4 size good quality paper. The Application can also be downloaded from the website of Railway Recruitment Cell, Hubli — rrchubli.in). The application should be filled in English or Hindi language only. The applications in other than English or Hindi languages will be rejected.
The application should be filled by the candidate in his/her own handwriting and signed (Not to be signed in capital letters).
The candidate has to affix/paste (not to be pinned) one recent passport size color photograph without wig, cap or coloured glasses (not older than two months), duly attested/ self-attested by signing partially on the application and partially on the photo in the space provided for the purpose. Candidate is also required to enclose one extra passport size photograph (same as the one affixed/pasted on the application) along with the application.
