President Ram Nath Kovind launches the Pulse Polio programme for 2018

President Ram Nath Kovind on Saturday launched the Pulse Polio programme for 2018 by administering polio drops to children less than five years old, at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

The President administered the polio drops on the eve of the National Immunization Day, which is observed tomorrow, in the presence of Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare J P Nadda and Ministers of State (Health) Ashwini Kumar Choubey and Ms Anupriya Patel.
