Though the movie had a nationwide release on January 25, it was screened at the cinema hall from Sunday morning here amid heavy presence of police personnel fearing protest and vandalism. It was only after this that two unidentified miscreants hurled the bombs from an over-bridge which passes from near the movie hall,” sources said, adding, security was redeployed immediately after the incident.
Town police station SHO KP Singh said that investigation was on and CCTV footages were being scanned to get clue about the miscreants who had hurled the bomb.
“Petrol was filled inside the bottles which were hurled but no damage or injury was caused,” the SHO said.
