It was only recently that Indian National Congress president Rahul Gandhi has asked his party workers to carry out mass outreach programmes to reach all the people similar to the one carried out during Gujarat election.
He also asked the Congress leaders to prepare “people’s manifesto”.
“The exercise has already been undertaken by a team headed by senior Congress leader Veerappa Moily and it is expected to come out with an ‘all-encompassing manifesto’ much ahead of polling in the state,” a senior party leader said.
