Congress President Rahul Gandhi was seen jubilant at the victory of Congress party on three seats in Rajasthan. He congratulated party workers for the victory.
He tweeted,

The Congress won the Mandalgarh assembly seat and has maintained a significant lead in Alwar and Ajmer parliamentary seats, which the BJP had won in 2014.
He also spoke against the Union budget 2018 for neglecting youth of the country and not giving a fair price to farmers.
He tweeted,
4 years gone; still promising FARMERS a fair price.
4 years gone; FANCY SCHEMES, with NO matching budgets.
4 years gone; no JOBS for our YOUTH.

In his latest Budget, Finance minister has provided a lot of schemes for the rural area, announced one of the biggest health schemes but little for the middle class.
The Budget comes at a time when the chaotic implementation of GST has created lot many problems, for the people especially small traders.Jaitley announced massive spending on rural and urban infrastructure as also lower tax rates for small and medium enterprises.

Senior citizens will get higher exemptions on income from interest on bank and post office deposits, health insurance premium and critical illness expense.
While slews of schemes have been introduced for a rural area, lot many goods will become expensive owing to the import tax.
from cellphone to perfumes and toiletry, from watches to parts of automobiles, sunglasses to truck and bus tyres, footwear with diamonds and edible oils to fruit juices costly by raising customs duty.
