54-year-old man killed in quarrel over Re. 1

A 54-year-old man from Kalyan town in Thane has been killed in a quarrel over Re. 1.

The incident took place last night when the victim, Manohar Gamne, went to buy eggs from nearby neighborhood shop.

Allegedly, Gamne paid Re. 1 less to the shopkeeper, which resulted in a quarrel.
The quarrel later escalated after Gamne’s son and the shopkeeper’s son got involved.
