In a shocking incident, a woman in Muzzafarnagar was raped at gunpoint in her own house. But while the man was trying to escape from the house, he fractured his leg.
Nitin Kumar is the culprit who barged into the house of his neighbor and raped a woman who was there with her aged mother-in-law as her husband was away.
However, the survivor raised the alarm when the man was fleeing from the house. But in a hurry, Kumar jumped from the terrace of the house and fractured his foot. He was captured by locals and admitted to the district hospital.

On January 1, the survivor approached the police station and filed a case against Kumar. “An FIR has been filed against Kumar under sections 376 (rape) and 452 (house trespass after preparation for hurt) after the woman was sent to the hospital for her medical examination,” said superintendent of police (rural) Ajay Sahdev.
But before police could arrest the culprit, the family of the accused had already shifted him to a private hospital.
