It will not be easy for Rahul Gandhi to complete the seat-sharing process due to these reasons

After the victorious triumph of the Congress in the Rajasthan elections, the party is now preparing for the next states upcoming elections.

The Congress in Karnataka finds itself in a dilemma as several aspirants for tickets are sons of leaders. This would be a hot topic of debate when Rahul Gandhi arrives in the state for a three-day visit.

Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah’s son, Dr. Yathindra are among the many who are aspirants for tickets. Rahul Gandhi would be in a spot as he decides who all gets the ticket all the while assuring the loyalty of the senior members of the party.

The issue of handing out tickets to the sons of leaders would be entirely decided by the high command. All state leaders have been told to stay away from this issue as the central leadership would take the final call on the matter.

This is not the first time that such as issue had occurred.  The Congress in fact, in 2013  had to delay the announcement of candidates in at least 4 to 5 constituencies owing to pressure from senior leaders to grant tickets to their children.
