J&K : Police registers new FIR against army
A new FIR has been filed counter to the Indian Army in Kashmir. This was after a boy was incapacitated when safety forces opened fire in Kulgam.
Military trucks were on their way to the community of Howora in Kulgam. There the battle began. Faced with stone-pelting, the Army opened fire. The boy who was injured has been taken to the district hospital in Anantnag. The police registered a routine FIR, and investigations have begun.

This comes just days after an Indian Army unit was booked after the fatal shooting of civilians in south Kashmir’s Shopian. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti said the Army hadn’t filed a counter FIR, the Indo-Asian News Service reported Saturday.
