Maria Jimenez Pacificio has joined the #metoo movement by reaching out to other victims with her story. She revealed that she was raped twice.
Colombia’s first plus-size model Maria has modeled for brands such as Dorothy Perkins, Zara, and Lindex.
She said: “I am going to tell that I was raped. I hope my testimony could be used for women who were victims of this crime to understand that what happened to them was not their fault. Society is a hypocrite that makes us feel guilty. That is why we keep silent while rapists are still out there.”

Jimenez revealed that she also experienced bullying at school and was raped by a so-called friend at 15 years old. She said that when I was 15, a friend invited me to a party in his house. We drank and then he offered to carry me back home.
Seven years later, when she was 22, she says she raped again after having her drink spiked. Jimenez said she passed out and woke up in a dirty flat with a man on top of her. “Someone put a drug in my glass and this man was raping me, I fainted several times – but every time I opened my eyes he was over me,” she said.
