Criminal case will be filed against people who spread news through social media

The police are going to take up the case against those who spread false messages through the social media. A case has been lodged against them for up to five years’ imprisonment.

Thiruvananthapuram IG Manoj Abraham said that a criminal case will be taken against those who spread fake news regarding the kidnapping and who are attacking people suspecting of kidnapping children.

There are a number of scenes are reporting from various parts of the state. Many of the attacked were innocent. Strict action will be taken against the culprits.
