Varun Tej-Raashi Khanna starrer Tholi Prema is all set to hit the silver screens. Film is Directed by Venky Atluri, there are high expectations around the film as two decades earlier, it was a film by the same name which had catapulted Pawan Kalyan to superstardom. Keerthi Reddy had played the female lead in that film and her introduction scene is still considered one of the finest in the annals of Tollywood.
Raashi said she was aware of that iconic scene but said that the new Tholi Prema would bear no resemblance to the original. Tholi Prema in Telugu means ‘First love’, so is there a first love in her life? “I was 17 when my senior proposed to me. He gave me a letter and a rose,” said Raashi coyly but hastened to add, “I am not in touch with him anymore. It was just infatuation.”
Raashi will be seen in three different get-ups in the film: one during a college episode, one in London and one back again in India. The film will hit screens tomorrow. Before the release, she attracted everyone with her appearance. Within a short time she renowned as ” ‘Indian Harry Potter’ and ‘Sister of Harry Potter’.
