She is an Indian film actress and former model, who works in Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi language films.
Priyamani gained widespread recognition for her role as village girl Muththazhagu in the Tamil film Paruthiveeran in 2007, receiving National Film Award for Best Actress and Filmfare Award for Best Actress Tamil for her performance.
She got married on 23 August 2017 to Mustafa Raj (Events Organizer) in a private ceremony. She still practices Hinduism and is a moderately religious person.
