In a shocking statement by the Goa Town and Planning minister, Vijai Sardesai on Friday commented that North Indian Tourist who comes to Goa doesn’t bother about Goa At all. He also said that these North Indian Tourists wants to create a ‘Haryana’ in Goa. These comments are surely going to draw a lot of criticism.
He even called North Indian tourist’s as scum.”Today, we receive tourists who are almost six times the state’s population. Those tourists are not the top-end tourists. They are also the scum of the earth,” Sardesai said.

He didn’t stop there and went on to call Goa as a superior state while calling other states as irresponsible. He said that they very high in per capita income, social and political consciousness, health parameters, and many other parameters whereas other states are not.
These comments were made by him while speaking at Goa Biz Fest.
A state which has only 1.6 million population, Goa draws 6 million tourists a year due to its beautiful beach and other tourist destinations in the state.
