PM Narendra Modi asked people to put money in banks, now he is silent : Rahul Gandhi
Congress president Rahul Gandhi today alleged that people in the government had prior knowledge of the “Rs 22,000 crore” PNB fraud and held Prime Minister Narendra Modi responsible for “destroying” the financial system of the country.
“This Rs 22,000 crore scam cannot have been done without a high level protection. It must have been known by the people in government beforehand otherwise it is not possible. PM will have to come forward and answer questions,” the Congress president said.

“PM Modi can speak to kids for over an hour about how to give exams, but he cannot say who is responsible for the Rs 22,000 crore loss. Several ministers so far have addressed the scam but so far, finance minister and PM Modi have kept mum,” he said.
Rahul further added, “Nirav Modi snatched the money from the country’s pocket. PM Modi destroyed the financial system of the country. He asked the citizens to put money in the banks and assured them that it will be secure. Now he’s not even uttering a single word.”
