BJP confident of winning bypolls in Bihar and UP; Declares candidates for four seats

For the upcoming by-polls in three Lok Sabha seats and one assembly seat, BJP on Monday announced its candidates.Upendra Nath Shukla will contest from Yogi Adityanath’s home turf and Kaushalendra Singh Patel from Phulpur. These seats became vacant after the resignation of UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath (Gorakhpur) and Deputy CP Keshav Prasad Maurya (Phulpur).

In BJP which is a BJP ruled state Pradeep Singh is contesting for BJP from Araria Lok Sabha seat with JDU supporting him. The bypoll was necessitated due to the death of RJD MP Taslemuddin.

Rinki Pandey is the BJP candidate from Bhabhua assembly segment in Bihar. Bypoll for the four seats will take place on March 11.
