Rahul Gandhi’s visit ensures BJP’s victory in Karnataka, says Yeddyurappa

After Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, it was former Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa’s turn to belittle Congress President Rahul Gandhi by saying that Mr Gandhi’s visit to Karnataka would ensure BJP’s victory in the state. Earlier, Yogi Adityanath had remarked that Rahul Gandhi will bring fortune to the BJP by
becoming the chief of the opposition party.

Referring to Rahul Gandhi as a ‘bachcha'(kid), Yeddyurappa said that the Congress chief’s visit to Karnataka will surely ensure more than 150 seats for the BJP.
According to the BJP leader, Rahul Gandhi’s arrival in Karnataka will not do any good for the Congress. On the other hand, it may help BJP in fulfilling its dream of a
“Congress Mukt Karnataka”. He also mocked Mr Gandhi by calling him an “election Hindu”. Mr Yeddyurappa also remarked that the Congress faces huge setbacks wherever
Rahul Gandhi has campaigned and this will surely repeat in Karnataka also.

Earlier, Mr Gandhi had visited Karnataka in February and had addressed various rallies in several parts of the state. The highlight of his visit was the ‘pakoda’ break
he took with Chief Minister Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and other senior leaders which became viral in social media.
