Director Ram Gopal Varma has been facing the heat for quite some time for shooting the docu-drama God, Sex And Truth which features porn star Mia Malkvova. Several woman activists have come out against the director accusing him of insulting women.
According to latest reports, the director may have to go behind the bars as an activist has come out claiming that she has proof that the director had filmed the docu-drama in Hyderabad. Ram Gopal Varma was recently questioned by the Hyderabad police following this. Earlier, the director had claimed that he shot the film in Europe.
The activist said that Mia Malkova had come to India to shoot for the film and she has pictures to prove it. She also said that the behind-the-scenes photos of the film also feature some of the close friends of the director.
As per rules, making a pornographic film in India is illegal and if proved, the director will have to face serious troubles. It must be noted that even the publication reports and the staff of the five-star hotel in which the film was shot may face serious punishments.
Meanwhile, the director has reacted against the protests and allegations about the movie on twitter. He said that his lawyers will speak on his behalf regarding the issue and they might also take necessary legal actions.
