Bollywood evergreen beauty Sridevi passed away.
This news had shocked the entertainment field.
And the first to react to the news was Big B- Amithab Bachchan.
It was not confirmed then. We had all heard it and we all hoped that it was not true.
That’s exactly what even Amitabh Bachchan felt- and he tweeted about it.
Big B said on his Twitter handle: Ek ajeeb Si Ghabrahat Ho Rahi Hai. And this was much before Priyanka Chopra, Madhur Bhandarkar, Preity Zinta or any Bollywood celebrity had reacted.
Sridevi was in Dubai when she passed away. She had attended a wedding- Sonam Kapoor’s cousin Mohit Marwah’s marriage.
After the function rather than returning home with her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi- who had attended the wedding, the actress stayed back.
Her daughter was busy shooting for Dhadak in Mumbai and had not attended the wedding.

So why had the actress stayed back?
She wanted to take a short vacation for no specific reason per se.
Sridevi was called the first female superstar of Hindi cinema and had several super performances to her credit. She had an impeccable timing as a comedienne.
She made a massive comeback with English Vinglish (which won her several awards) in 2012 and then stunned fans as a villainous queen in Puli, which also marked her return to Tamil cinema after a gap of more than 20 years. She was last seen in Mom, where again her performance was praised to no end and even won her the Best Actor Female Award at the Zee Cine Awards Nite.
