A criminal court in Dubai sent a man to seven years in jail for stabbing his compatriot manager to death. The court also ordered a deportation after completion of jail term.
According to 22-year-old Pakistani worker, he got angry when the victim, his supervisor, allegedly sexually harassed him, prompting him to stab him four times. However, he denied a premeditated murder charge in court claiming he did not mean to kill the victim. “He attacked me first and I was defending myself,” he claimed.

The accused told the investigation that the victim had called him around 11 pm on the incident day. When the victim saw the defendant later in the car park, he allegedly slapped him and before he could drag him to do what he had solicited before, the defendant stabbed him several times in the abdomen and chest.
The victim walked some steps and then collapsed. The accused then sat next to him telling him how sorry he was, cried and apologized to the victim. The accused had also told the police victim had been sexually abusing him for a year since he arrived at the country for work under his team.
