The Central Bureau of Investigation has revealed at the court on Thursday that there were clear pieces of evidence to support the links between Karti Chidambaram and various companies. The agency produced Karti before Delhi court on Thursday.

A CBI official said, “We have emails and invoices indicating money was given to Advantage Strategic Consultancy Private Limited (ASCPL) in the time period when INX media received favours. There is clear evidence of links between Karti Chidambaram and various companies. We have emails and invoices indicating money was given to Advantage Strategic Consultancy Private Limited (ASCPL) in the time period when INX media received favours,”
However, Karti’s counsel Abhishek Manu Singhvi asked on what basis can the CBI claim non-cooperation when they haven’t issued a summons. According to him, all the documents are with the CBI.
Karti, son of former union finance minister P Chidambaram, was arrested by the CBI on Wednesday soon after his return from the UK.
