Former Kerala Women’s Commission Chairperson Justice D. Sridevi passes away

Former Kerala Women’s Commission chairperson and High Court Judge, Justice D Sridevi passed away at the age of 79. The incident happened at 2 am Toady at her son Basant Balaji’ residence Ernakulam.

She was undergoing a treatment for two months following the liver-related illness. The cremation will be held at Ernakulam Ravipuram crematorium on 5pm.

Sreedevi completed her Graduation from Trivandrum NSS college and Kollam SN college.Also completed BL Degree from Trivandrum Law College, She started her practice in 1962.

In the year 1997, She appointed as High Court judge,retired in 2001 April. After that she continues her career as Kerala Women’s Commission chairperson.
