The emphatic victory of BJP in the Northeastern states has sent a shock wave across political parties. Regional parties are trying to snitch new alliances. In the first step towrds it, arch rivals Bahujan Samajwadi Party and Samajwadi Party has decided to come together.
On the other hand, CPIM is also pondering for other option after the disastrous result in Tripura. At a time when Modi wave seems to be at its peak, Karnataka Chief Minister and Congress leader Siddaramaih have said that there is no Modi wave. He has expressed his opinion via Twitter,
Post #Tripura results there is excitement in media about the results’ implications for Karnataka.
Since 2014 Lok Sabha results #BJP has lost Assembly segments in over 50 Lok Sabha Seats & has won only about 2 LS seats.

Election to the state is scheduled to take place in May this year. This state is a prestigious one for Congress as it is the last Big state under the kitty of Congress. On the other hand, For BJP, a win in this state will make them Virtually oppositionless in the entire country.
