The Ochki cyclone had hit the Southern Indian coast badly that many fishermen are still missing. Family members are wondering if their loved ones are dead or alive.
When Shiluvayyan’s family was just about to believe that he is dead and couldn’t escape cyclone Ockhi, he returned back after 3 months on Tuesday.
52-year-old Shiluvayyan had gone to Kasargode in November for fishing. He said, “By the time Ockhi hit the sea, all of us felt something bad is going to happen and everyone immediately returned to the shore with their nets.”
Shiluvayyan is survived by son Antony as his wife passed away many years ago.

Many of his friends returned back to their home after coming to know that many of the known people have gone missing.
However, Shiluvayyan remained in Kasargode waiting for his friends. Meanwhile, his son Antony filed a missing complaint with the police.
When he did not return for long, Shiluvayyan’s pictures were put up at many places in Vizhinjam.
Shiluvayyan borrowed money from someone and returned home after 3 months. He said that he will go back to work soon as soon as his health becomes normal.
