Sunrisers Hyderabad successfully defended yet another low total

Sunrisers Hyderabad successfully defended its modest total by bundling Kings XI Punjab out for a 13-run win. 

Sunrisers Hyderabad bundled out Kings XI Punjab for 119 in 19.2 overs. Earlier, Ankit Rajpoot (5/14) helped KXIP restrict SRH to 132/6.

Kings XI Punjab skipper Ashwin won the toss and decided to field first. It was another low-scoring thriller in IPL 2018 involving Sunrisers Hyderabad. After SRH had defended 118 runs against Mumbai Indians the other night (April 24) in an away game, they scored another low score at their home.

Riding on Ankit Rajpoot’s fifer, Kings XI Punjab was able to restrict the SRH at 132/6 in stipulated 20 overs. However, the comeback by the Hyderabad was an inspiring one as they rattled the KXIP for 119 to register a win by 13 runs. 

Sunrisers registers the fifth victory of the season and leapfrogged KXIP to second in the Indian Premier League standings.
