Oppo and Vivo phones are India’s crowd-favourite. While brands like Xiaomi appeal to the customers through its high specs at low prize, these brands have been more focused on canvasing the selfie centred people. But that could soon change as Oppo is gearing up to launch it’s new series, a sub brand in collaboration with amazon called the Oppo ‘Real me’. It seems as though almost every brand in India is getting in to smart phone business to tap the huge potential. The new brand, they say, is targeted at “young customers”.
Amazon has put a page for this phone,in which it is shown featuring a diamond black rear. Realme looks like it will feature a single camera with led flash. The front side is not shown and may have a finger print scanner in the home button there. The phone will be priced anywhere between 10000 and 20000 and the emphasis seems to be primarily on providing a more stunning design which was a problem with Oppo phones. No other detail about the specification of Realme is known yet.
Oppo fans wants would dearly love to have a performance beast rather than overly focused on selfies. The Oppo is made completely in India . Oppo and amazon will together launch the phone on May 15th.
