Facebook owned Whatsapp confirmed that it will soon add group video calling and stickers to it’s list of capabilities. The popular messaging app has over 1.5 billion monthly users across the world and have been crying long for the introduction of both features..

The WhatsApp already has one to one video and voice call, but soon we will see Whatsapp-calls with up to four persons on the screen. Adding group call feature to this app will further boost the appeal and will probably see more and more people switching to it.
At the F8 Developer Conference, a lot of stunning statistics were presented . It was revealed that users are spending 2 billion minutes everyday on WhatsApp audio and video calls. Whatsapp status has 450 million active users on a daily basis.
Although not a lot of tech involved, stickers does improve the fun-quotient in texting. Other messaging apps like hike has got a multitude of Desi stickers and it remains to be seen what kind of stickers whatsapp will come up with. Whatsapp Smileys got an update a few months before and wasn’t very well received.
The features will be available in the coming days but Whatsapp did not mention an exact date. These features were spotted at a beta update but not all users were able to access it.
