Minor raped by father for 6 months arrested

Amid the rising cases of rape, particularly the minor rape cases, another has been registered.

A man has been arrested for raping his minor daughter for the past 6 months was arrested in Bihar’s Bihar Sharif, Nalanda district.

The man was drunk when he tried to commit the crime and was caught by his neighbours said Deputy Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Imran Parvez.

After he was caught, the 16-year-old said that she was abused for the past 6 months by her father.

The DSP said the man was arrested after he was handed over to police by the neighbours and a case had been registered at the Mahila Thana.

A rickshaw-puller by profession, the man stays in Asansol in West Bengal and is in Bihar to visit his family.
